ABOUT THE BOOK

From the back cover:
Seth Kincaid survived a fire in a cave, but he’s never been the same. He was always a reckless youth, but now he’s gone over the edge. He ran off to the Civil War and came back crazier than ever.

After the war, nearly dead from his injuries, it appears Seth got married. Oh, he’s got a lot of excuses, but his wife isn’t happy to find out Seth doesn’t remember her. Callie isn’t a long-suffering woman. When Seth disappeared, she searched, prayed, and worried. Now she's come out west to wrangle her long-lost husband.  Seth is willing to make amends.  Callie is more interested in shooting him.  Can they rekindle their love before one of them goes over the edge?

My Thoughts

Over The Edge is an action packed novel with love, hope and tons of suspense from the beginning. The story starts out with Callie defending a stagecoach and asking a complete stranger to take her young son Connor. Just when she thinks that she may have killed most of the men trying to rob the stagecoach it takes an ugly turn and Callie is now in danger.

Seth Kincaid has been running most of his life and marries a woman and has a child, but why doesn’t he know this? When he rescues Callie from the stagecoach he has no idea why she looks so familiar. With her not well and feistier than ever he finally realizes that Callie Kincaid is his wife and Connor is his child.

Seth must find a way back to his wife and it will not be easy. Seth takes her back to his brother Ethan’s home to nurse her back to health with the help of his sister-in-law Audra. Callie will put up a fight the entire time and doesn’t trust Seth one bit.

Callie has lost everything and she is not about to lose one more thing. She holds on to Connor and has a hard time letting him out of her sight, but when diamonds are found, Jasper will be right there to get them. Will Callie’s life be in danger or will Callie and Seth finally find their way back to each other?

I really enjoyed reading this book but I would say that I found out that Over the Edge is the third book in the Kincaid bride’s series, and though it can be read as a stand alone I think it would have been very helpful to read the other books in the series. If your wondering what the other two books are call the first one is Out of Control and the second on is In Too Deep.  Have you read any of these books if so let us know what you think or if you have not let us know if you plan to read any of these books.  As always Happy Reading.
