#Rubbermaid Lunch Blox Sandwich Kit

We recently received a Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit  to review . Rubbermaid LunchBlox™ makes packing lunch easier than ever. These modular containers snap together in multiple configurations to efficiently use the space in your lunch box or bag. Containers are perfectly portioned for your favorite lunch foods with handy measurements on the sides of each container. Your lunch stays chilled with snap in Blue Ice™. Individual containers are sold separately from kits so you can configure a different way everyday. Features of the Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit:
Containers stack compactly to stay organized
Blue Ice™ keeps your lunch cool on the go
Secure lid seal
Microwave, Dishwasher, and Freezer Safe
Sandwich container holds regular and specialty bread
Sandwich Kit includes 2 Snack Containers, 1 Side Container, 1 Sandwich Container and 1 Medium Blue Ice
The containers themselves had handy measurements in both millilitres and ounces on the sides so that those following a diet or creating a portable recipe could easily prepare proper servings. And while the lids had a tight, leak proof seal, they also had sturdy tabs that made opening the containers easy for little ones to open. One of my biggest pet peeves is leak proof containers with lids that are so inflexible that children can’t open them up at mealtime!

I tried the LunchBlox Sandwich Kit first. It featured a 500 ml square container for the sandwich, a 200 ml side dish container and two 75 ml snack containers. The fitted Blue Ice freezer pack snapped into place between the sandwich container and the side and snack containers. I really liked the size of these handy lunch containers; the snack-sized ones were perfect for holding a small portion of raisins or a few bite-sized cookies.  Rubbermaid LunchBlox Kits can be purchased at: Amazon, Select Wal-Mart Stores, Kmart, Target and  The value of the LunchBlox Sandwich Kit is  $12.99. This is the suggested retail price. However, prices at retail may vary and are controlled by the retailer.  These are great to use for those little ones lunches that I know most of us have to pack either now or very soon.
