Lauren is familiar with the word 'sacrifice'. Not only a mom (as all moms know that word), she is also a military wife whose husband is a pilot in the Air Force. However one thing that Lauren refused to sacrifice was her joy. One day, while her husband was serving in Iraq, she decided that she needed to take ownership of her personal happiness and find something that she could love that belonged to just her, as well as give her a sense of pride. That 'something' was becoming a Stella & Dot Stylist! Now she is defining her success on her own terms and celebrates the fact that she is the one that treats her husband on date night.

Amelia left her career in education, after working in the classroom for six years, to have her first baby. Thanks to the flexible working schedule of a Stella & Dot Stylist, Amelia was able to focus on building her Stella & Dot business and rose through the ranks to the position of Director. She loves that she is not only able to stay home and raise her son, but that she is contributing significantly to the household income at the same time. Amelia has found that as a Stella & Dot Stylist, the time and effort that she puts in pays off financially, which has allowed her to save up enough money to pay off a loan. However, the aspect that she treasures the most about being a Stella & Dot Stylist, is being able to coach women to achieve their dreams.
