A-Z Challenge ````M``` Museum

Conneaut Area Historical Society Museum
Located at 501 Sandusky Street, Conneaut, Ohio. This 30 ft. by 140 ft. building holds many displays that speak of the area history. The middle room is devoted to research with volumes of information available to the interested and the last 3rd of the building is devoted to larger displays and an area for restoration.

The Historical Society holds regular monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm at “The Villa at the Lake” There are guest speakers, information sharing and refreshments. Generally, 40 to 50 members are present.

The Museum is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The hours are Noon – 5:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. Group tours may call for private tour hours.

Conneaut Railroad Museum

In addition to our historical museum, Conneaut is proud to have one of the nicest Railroad Museums in the country. It is within walking distance from the Historical Museum and is situated across the railroad tracks.
