I just got this wonderful package for being a Lisa's Diva. I got a super cool Lisa's Diva's Tank Top and some bling shades as well as 5 copies of Lisa's novel Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor. Of course I will be keeping a copy for my self and I will be giving out a couple to friends and family and then I will offer one to one of my lucky readers in the giveaway I will be posting . Now for a little about the book but not to much I don't want to spoil it for anyone. Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor is a beautiful story of 3 lonely people and how a little girls wish and a little magic brought them all together. It's the story of Mark Nolan who becomes guardian of his niece Holly after his sister dies in a car accident and Maggie, a widow, who has moved to the island after the death of her husband.
This is an entertaining sweet contemporary romance that is fun to read though the audience knows from the moment the key cast is set, the story line is set. The lead adult couple's doubts re love is not deeply explored yet Lisa Kleypas shows her writing skills as she provides an engaging tale with the child's plight providing seriousness to what would have been a sugary Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor.
